A Message to the Chinese-to-English Translation Team

ZhongTian FaMen students are known as a community of exceptionally high quality and character. Yet they do not walk with their heads held high because of their excellence. Rather, they are like ripened stalks of rice: the fuller they grow, the more their heads hang low. They are as open and receptive as a valley, carrying themselves with humility and openness, with proper courtesy and deep reverence, and with sincere respect for others. Through patience, self‑restraint, and faithful observance of group discipline, they have earned an excellent reputation throughout the Dharma realm and the wider spiritual community.
Now, with the founding of the Chinese‑to‑English Translation Team, another group of outstanding quality has come into being. It is my heartfelt hope that you will uphold ZhongTian’s beautiful tradition of humility, set aside any sense of superiority, and faithfully carry out the tasks assigned to you by your team leader. In this way, your shared efforts in guiding others will generate supreme merit and extraordinary achievement, adorning your own future and also illuminating the paths of others.
At the same time, your work will help ZhongTian FaMen step onto the international stage, carrying forward the profound meaning of Zen Cultivation and the far‑reaching significance of sowing seeds in spring — a cultivation that plants hope for the future. You are pioneers in overcoming the barriers of language. In days to come, foreign languages will shine and glow because of your dedication, becoming living channels through which this mission may spread far beyond what we can now see.
The merit born of guiding others will continue gently and enduringly into the future. We look forward to your efforts with hope and heartfelt anticipation, and we offer our sincere blessings to each and every one of you.
